We left Christmas day to drive to Erlanger, Kentucky on our way to Illinois. It was a beautiful drive through the mountains, haven't seen weather like that in years when going through the mountains. We ate at the Waffle House on Christmas Day... it was the only thing open!! We later spent the night at Jewell's, Chris' sister. When we got up this morning it was so foggy that we went back to bed! We finally left at 10:30 for Illinois. Drove in the rain most of the way up here and the last 100 miles was real foggy. We arrived around 3:00 their time, safe and sound! We were surprised at how much Reagan (our great-grandson) had grown and how cute he is. It didn't take him long to get to know us! He already knows our names. We hadn't seen him since June. Everyone else is fine too! It was so foggy that no one wanted to (or should we say, could) go back out tonight so we stayed in, had dinner and now we're going to watch a movie.
Holding Reagan the day he came home from the hospital. We came up from South Carolina just to see him, our first great grandchild.
This is the 2007 Carolina/Virginia's team matches at Kingsmill in Williamsburg, VA. From left to right; Brenda Frye, Susan Harden, Chris, and Linda Miller.
After the tournament we visited Chris' sister Lillian and her husband Tom, in Fairfax, Virginia. This is her and Tom.
This was last Christmas, Reagan and I having a little chat. They came to our house in South Carolina last year, 2007.
This was Great Grandpa feeding Reagan won ton soup at Yoshi and Ken's "Kampai", japanese restaurant. New Years Eve 2007. He takes after his mom, she likes japanese food too! We introduced her to it when she was little as well!
Hope to keep this updated, check back every now and then and see what we're up to!
